Have you any idea what Strike Energy is? Strike Energy is an Australian exportation and moreover a development company, that exports oil and coal. They are listed on the ASX (Australian Securities Exchange). The company, in collaboration with a long term partner, also holds and produces from two fields located in Texas, in the southern part of the United States.
They have continuing projects in Texas. Strike Energy had their 3rd successful discovery out of wells in February 2010. Because they were once again successful they now have a 60% success rate. This is something that Strike Energy is proud of. The final analysis of this well is still pending, but Strike Energy hopes to be able to double their entire holdings with this discovery.
There is a total of ten wells in Texas and productions in ongoing thought collaborative efforts between them and there partner. Recently the company started a gulf shore project in Louisiana. This new farming is known as the Bateman Lake Joint Venture. This project is only possible due to the strong alliance between Strike Energy and Texana Resources.
It is easy to understand why the coal, gas and oil business is growing so large. Without coal and oil our country could not function at all. We travel a boatload in the US and moreover we could not advance in technology without it either. Our day to day life is sustained by the companies that excel in this field.
Were it not for their exploration of such place as those in Louisiana, Texas, and the Bowen Basin, among others, our reserves would be depleted and we would run out of this much needed commodity. Can you imagine a world with no transportation across land, sea or air, much like it was in the days of our forefather’s distant families? Pretty scary
If you would like to know more about this industry and one of the companies on the forefront of it, here are some top terms to acclimate yourself with:
Exploration oil- when a company explores the ground for natural oil that they will go back and drill for another time.
Unconventional gas is natural gas that is harder & more intensive to drill for, such with gas shales, tight sand and coalbed methane.
Coal Methane- is a natural pocket of gas found in coal beds.
Underground Coal Gasification- the process of turning underground coal into a gas product.
Strike Energy is about the cutting edge, they are without a dought a leading company in this field, plus are growing fast. Some people think that it does damage to the earth to drill and mine out land in search of oil, but the fact of the matter is those people want to drive and have power. Without the process that has to take place none of the us would have the have the things that we so often take for granted.
Strike Energy is a global leader in the underground coal gasification industry. To learn more visit StrikeEnergy.com.

Bedrock Energy Development is a Natural Gas and Independent Oil company. They specialize in finding fields of crude oil rich areas and drill sites in the United States.
Natural Gas is a vital component of the world’s supply of energy. It is one of the cleanest, safest, and most useful of all energy sources. Despite its importance, however, there are many misconceptions about Natural Gas. For instance, the word ‘gas’ itself has a variety of different uses, and meanings.
While frequently grouped in with other fossil fuels and sources of energy, there are many characteristics of Natural Gas that make it unique.
Natural Gas might be considered a very uninteresting gas. It is colorless, shapeless, and odorless in its pure form. Quite uninteresting, nevertheless Natural Gas is combustible and when burned it gives off an incredible amount of energy.
Nothing like the other fossil fuels, Natural Gas is a clean burning fuel and it emits lower levels of potentially harmful by-products into the environment. We need energy constantly, to heat our homes, cook our food and produce our electricity. It is this necessity for energy that has elevated Natural Gas to such a level of significance in our society and in our lives.
Natural Gas is a combustible mixture of hydrocarbon gases. Despite the fact that Natural Gas is formed primarily of methane, it can also include ethane, propane, butane and pentane. The composition of Natural Gas can vary extensively.
Natural Gas has many uses residentially, commercially and industrially. Found in reservoirs underneath the earth, Natural Gas is commonly associated with oil deposits. Production companies search for evidence of these reservoirs by using sophisticated technology that helps to find the location of the Natural Gas, and drill wells in the earth where it is likely to be found.
Once brought from underground, the Natural Gas is refined to remove impurities like water, other gases, sand, and other compounds. Some hydrocarbons are removed and sold separately, including propane and butane. Other impurities are also removed, like hydrogen sulfide (the refining of which can produce sulfur, which is then also sold separately). After refining, the clean Natural Gas is transmitted through a network of pipelines, thousands of miles of which exist in the United States alone. From these pipelines, Natural Gas is delivered to its point of use.
