Bedrock Energy Development of Denver, Colorado is an Independent Oil and Natural Gas Company specializing in the acquisition of drill sites and fields in petroleum rich areas of the domestic United States.

Discovering natural gas has spurred energy experts and policy makers to start looking to natural gas in their pursuit of a wide range of goals: easing the impact of energy-price spikes, reducing dependence on foreign oil, lowering “greenhouse gas” emissions and speeding the transition to renewable fuels.

The availability of natural-gas generation enables us to be more courageous in charting a transition to a low-carbon economy. Natural gas, in itself, might be considered a very uninteresting gas – it is colorless, shapeless, and odorless in its pure form

New advancement in software and drilling equipment have helped production rise eleven percent in the past two years. This has driven prices down to a 6 year low and allowed producers to temporarily cut back on drilling and seek a new source.

The natural-gas discoveries come as oil has become harder to find and more expensive to produce. The U.S. is increasingly reliant on supplies imported from the Middle East and other politically unstable regions. In contrast, 98% of the natural gas consumed in the U.S. is produced in North America.

Natural gas has played a huge supporting role in the United States energy supply. Almost all the cars and trucks in the United States are fueled by refined gasoline or diesel.

Most of the people in the United States use natural gas daily. Industries use the most natural gas as heat to produce products. Fertilizer, photographic film ink, glue, paint and plastics are among the products that have natural gas as an ingredient.

A vital component of the world’s supply of energy is natural gas. Of all the energy sources it is the cleanest, safest, and most useful.

Bedrock Energy Development is a Natural Gas and Independent Oil company. They specialize in finding fields of crude oil rich areas and drill sites in the United States.

Natural Gas is a vital component of the world’s supply of energy. It is one of the cleanest, safest, and most useful of all energy sources. Despite its importance, however, there are many misconceptions about Natural Gas. For instance, the word ‘gas’ itself has a variety of different uses, and meanings.

While frequently grouped in with other fossil fuels and sources of energy, there are many characteristics of Natural Gas that make it unique.

Natural Gas might be considered a very uninteresting gas. It is colorless, shapeless, and odorless in its pure form. Quite uninteresting, nevertheless Natural Gas is combustible and when burned it gives off an incredible amount of energy.

Nothing like the other fossil fuels, Natural Gas is a clean burning fuel and it emits lower levels of potentially harmful by-products into the environment. We need energy constantly, to heat our homes, cook our food and produce our electricity. It is this necessity for energy that has elevated Natural Gas to such a level of significance in our society and in our lives.

Natural Gas is a combustible mixture of hydrocarbon gases. Despite the fact that Natural Gas is formed primarily of methane, it can also include ethane, propane, butane and pentane. The composition of Natural Gas can vary extensively.

Natural Gas has many uses residentially, commercially and industrially. Found in reservoirs underneath the earth, Natural Gas is commonly associated with oil deposits. Production companies search for evidence of these reservoirs by using sophisticated technology that helps to find the location of the Natural Gas, and drill wells in the earth where it is likely to be found.

Once brought from underground, the Natural Gas is refined to remove impurities like water, other gases, sand, and other compounds. Some hydrocarbons are removed and sold separately, including propane and butane. Other impurities are also removed, like hydrogen sulfide (the refining of which can produce sulfur, which is then also sold separately). After refining, the clean Natural Gas is transmitted through a network of pipelines, thousands of miles of which exist in the United States alone. From these pipelines, Natural Gas is delivered to its point of use.
